International moth

Leading into the 2011 Moth World Championship, CST worked closely with its Moth team, including world champions Nathan Outteridge and Bora Gulari, to develop a new range of Moth spars. Our aim was to produce masts that suit popular sail brands and offer an edge in performance through ideal luff profile match. The result, after 21 prototype masts, is a new range of spars called HM Elite. These spars replace the very successful HM Club series with changes in both bend profile and overall stiffness.

Contender

CST has launched its High Modulus Contender mast. The tapered mast has a 45mm outside diameter compared with 50mm for the previous version. It's 10% lighter with a much smoother bend profile. The mast comes with reinforcing sleeves and track attached, but can be supplied in two pieces for easy shipping. Notable class sailor Andrea Bonezzi has had great success using this section which is our finest Contender mast to date.

CST supplies a complete range of carbon tubing for masts, spreaders and wings for the B14 class. Our 50 series masts are made using intermediate modulus carbon fibre and have been developed with the leading class sailors to offer optimum bend characteristics low weight.

CST have won five world titles in the I14s including the 2011 world titles with Archie Massy and Dan Wilsdon, who used our professional range of HM Club spars. The new high modulus carbon sections are the smallest diameter and highest performing I14 masts available. The HM Club masts are available in two stiffness varients, to suit your sailing weight.

505

The 505 class has benefitted from our knowledge and testing with successful team sailors Carter Jackson and Nathan Outteridge. Our products for the 505 are strong, reliable and light-weight and include booms, poles and accessories. Under Construction

16' skiff

CST's newly launched Blue Series fibreglass tips have already experienced success with a win in the 2011 Australian Championship. Lee Knapton and the team onboard Brydens Compensation Lawyers won the championship after extensive development with CST and McDiarmid Sails using our new rectangular boom and carbon fibre bowsprit package. These products are now available, while our development of new 16ft skiff carbon fibre masts is in progress.

18' skiff

CST started with18ft skiff development in 1999 and since then we have had success with our full carbon fibre masts winning the JJ Giltinan World Titles in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and with Howie Hamlin and his crew in 2011. Archie Massey, Dan Wilson and Mike McKensey are joining the CST team for an 18ft campaign using rigs from our "Elite" series which are the stiffest in the fleet.
